Federal Act on Financial Institutions: since its entry into force in 2020, Collegal (Flavio Amadò and Giovanni Molo) has successfully provided assistance to 8 asset managers, a trustee company (the first authorized in Ticino) and a manager of collective investment schemes to obtain the authorization from FINMA.

The Firm disposes of an extensive know how in the efficient preparation of authorization procedures, integrating competences acquired as lawyers in other areas (litigation, corporate law and notarial services).

The transitional period for financial institutions active on 31.12.2019 to request an authorization from FINMA expires on 31.12.2022. Any other Financial Institution shall obtain an authorization from FINMA before starting operative activities.
